Electrocoagulation Kraków Kraków

The ELECTROCOAGULATION procedure allows for the safe and permanent removal of skin lesions using high-frequency alternating electric current. Patients often choose to remove such lesions primarily for aesthetic reasons. This quick and non-invasive treatment involves applying an electrode to the lesion. As an electric arc forms between the electrodes, it causes the coagulation (denaturation) of proteins in the targeted tissue.
Electrocoagulation can remove unwanted skin changes such as milia, xanthomas, fibromas, or warts. The procedure works by coagulating the lesions with high-frequency electrical current. Depending on the size and location of the lesions—and the patient's pain tolerance—the doctor may perform the procedure with or without local anesthesia.
