It is a surgical procedure that eliminates the problem of droopy eyelids. Blepharoplasty, also referred to as eyelid lift, involves removing excess skin from the upper eyelids. It is dedicated to all people who suffer from drooping eyelids. Thanks to the laser technology combined with a precise scalpel, the procedure is minimally invasive and safe and brings permanent effects.

The steps of the procedure
01Qualification consultation
During the consultation, the doctor qualifies the patient for the procedure. The doctor carries out a medical interview and learns the patient’s expectations. It is also critical to discuss the indications and potential diseases that the patient might have. The doctor will also order necessary blood tests. If there are no contraindications for the procedure – the date of the procedure can be scheduled.
02Treatment
Immediately before the procedure, the doctor draws special lines on the eyelids to precisely mark the area to be removed. The patient receives a local anaesthetic. Then, the doctor removes the excess skin and places tiny, thin sutures along the removal area. After the procedure, special dressings are applied (these do not restrict the patient’s vision) and the patient goes home.
03Follow-up
The follow-up visit is carried out after 7 days and is combined with suture removal. The doctor and the patient discuss the effects of the droopy eyelid correction.
